Don’t get fined by the Mat-su Borough for tricky wording of the current borough codes!!!! If you have a cabin in the Matsu Borough and you ride on your property seven or more days per year you are subject to $15,000 permit and approval from the borough. If you are a race club that holds three or more events per year you’re also subject to a $15,000 permit approval from the borough.
Please help us get these codes amended so cabins aren’t considered race tracks and small clubs can hold more races by sending an email to the council members. Click on the link below in STEP 1.

Dear Planning Commission
I support the new proposed Matanuska –Susitna Borough ordinance serial no. 18-021 (sub) to allow for small race tracks.
An ordinance of the Matanuska – Susitna borough assembly amending msb 17.63 racetrack regulations by amending The applicability and making the standards more consistent with other permits within the brorough code.
Sincerely,
